With a lot of heart
One would think that there are publishers like sand by the sea, and yet it is difficult to be noticed by them.
Whoopi Goldberg, in Sister Act 2, quotes Rilke on a young student: Don't ask if you are, or can be, a good writer. If you wake up in the morning and can only think about writing, then you are a born author.

The young woman wanted nothing more than to sing, and I feel the same way every day. My purpose in life is writing. I have so many ideas for fantastic stories.
I'm known to those in the know as thriller writer Cassandra York. I paid a lot of money for my books The Plague Cartel, The Olympia Files - Dangerous Truth and The Stolen Election. It didn't count.
I wanted independence as an author and freedom in the design of my books and covers. I'm good at being creative and I like to create something. Being self-employed as a self-publisher was the greatest thing I've done so far. As a trained radiology specialist and freelancer for reports in newspapers, this is probably not the usual path. But I'm having a lot of fun.
My life partner Hans-Peter Portner supports me in all matters. He has a good eye and often has to talk me out of too many flourishes and details on the covers. But in the end - if I listened to him - they are perfect.

In our friend Susanna Dürig we found the third, ideal partner. She likes to read and is the first to get the manuscripts on the table to read and check. For me, she is also an indispensable critical voice, admonishing me when sentences are too long or complicated and the texts need intensive correction.

Together we are an unbeatable team. We are friends and partners who like to sit down for a cozy drink, a good meal and a glass of wine and spoil each other with culinary delights and are there for each other.
 

We also see our task as publishers as easy and fun-loving. Work that is fun is not work. And our books are like children to whom we bestow the best efforts, who we cherish with care and release into the world of books with our best hopes and wishes.
 

We are curious about the new and the unknown, and we are very happy about how many books we have already been able to successfully publish by other authors.

With Klaas Klaasen we have a great children's book author and with Rebecca Loebbert a young, successful author of love stories and historical novels on board. Our dialect author Rosmarie Stucki, who is also my mother, also provides entertaining entertainment.

The mix of short stories, picture books, love stories, narratives, thrillers, crime novels and other things makes our work interesting and entertaining every day, and we also hope that our diverse program will continue to appeal to many readers to buy and read our books . We are grateful for positive reviews, please keep negative ones to yourself. As you know, you can argue about taste. It's always individual, too, and so a book doesn't mean anything to some people, while others think it's great.
