The young Lord Bradley is also anything but pleased about this forced marriage, but is soon taken with Sophie after meeting her in secret.
The only problem is that the young lady believes she has to marry an old man and also has her own plans - because she wants to win the most dangerous cross-country obstacle race in England with her stallion Edgar Rose and will not be dissuaded.
